Clinical Evaluation and Assesment
I also offer professional clinical assessments and psychological testing.
IQ testing
I offer IQ testing using the accredited Raven’s Progressive Matrices, one of the most widely recognized and scientifically validated tools for measuring cognitive abilities. This assessment can be helpful for a variety of purposes, including educational planning, career guidance, clinical evaluation, or fulfilling formal requirements such as court requests. The test provides a clear, reliable picture of intellectual functioning, forming a solid basis for further recommendations and support.
Psychological Evaluation
A psychological evaluation is a way for us to understand what you’re experiencing and how to best support you. It’s a thoughtful, respectful process that looks at your emotions, thinking, and behavior so we can get a clear picture of your needs.
What this process includes:
- A conversation together about your concerns, history, and goals.
- Standardized tests or questionnaires that help us understand things like mood, attention, learning, memory, or personality—depending on what you need.
- Observation and interaction, which help me see how you think, communicate, and problem-solve.
- Information you choose to share from past records or other providers, if helpful.
Why people get evaluations:
- To understand symptoms like anxiety, depression, or stress
- To explore attention or learning difficulties
- To get clarity about a diagnosis
- To guide treatment, therapy, or school/work accommodations
What you receive:
- A clear explanation of the results
- A written report (if needed)
- Personalized recommendations and next steps to help you move forward
